Curse the day, I'm cursing
All the way and back again
In to town to meet my maker
4 feet tall and full of sin
Feeling like I'm no ones monster
I lift him up, get my revenge
Now I'm free, but I feel your revelry
I can't shake it off, I can't shake it
All these feelings in my head
I want silence, no more anger
I wish I was God instead
Was he afraid of his own image
I don't care what the good book says
Now I'm free, but I feel your revelry
And I saw her through the ashes
Face is white, spirit self
Could she be my perfect monster
Together we rule this hell
Now I'm afraid, I'm afraid
And I will dance, revelry
I'm afraid, I'm afraid
And I will dance, revelry
I will see the light through the clouds
Out in the corner, ghostly scare
Radiate this place, I will dance
Stand alone, last all morning
First to leave this place
I will dance, revelry
All the way and back again
In to town to meet my maker
4 feet tall and full of sin
Feeling like I'm no ones monster
I lift him up, get my revenge
Now I'm free, but I feel your revelry

Hearing shades of old Genisis in this song, very nice!
I know you don't do two in a row but at first I thought I was hearing Corduroy from Pearl Jam

This was supposedly on a tv commercial recently.

It sounds like it was written for a car commerical.

You're sure this isn't Ben Lee?
Mmmmm the changes and instrumentation lift this above your average jangly guitar rock.

Bad name for a band (seeing's how the boats of the same name suck). But I like the tune.

Besides some sequences are worth keeping...I know I've found one when I end up printing out the play list to mimic it on a tape or the ipod I wish I had.

(sigh) I love SeaRay. "Stars at Noon" was one of the better albums I've run across in the last few years. It's unfortunate that they threw in the towel a couple years ago.
Someone mentioned that they sounded like The Church. They actually opened for The Church on their "Forget Yourself" tour. That's how I stumbled across them. Actually missed their opening performance after hearing good things about them, but was able to catch them headlining at a little bar. Phenomenal performance.
I do really likey though, just to note.

Is this the same band that does the opening song in Michael Moore's 'Bowling for Columbine'? It sounds very similar.
I just discovered that these guys played their last show in 2006. Sh*t!!!

Is that a Farfisa? Or just a clever synth? Anyway, the drummer has a deft touch.
Replacements!! oh... Cool.
Very nice. Good reverb on the guitar. A little Michael Brookish

Crashing another grant together... tedious, hard fracking work!! This song makes me feel a little lighter!
Thanks!
Ted H.
I hear a similarity between this group and Buffalo Tom.
'Taint a bad thing- I like them and this.

I totally agree, although to be fair some people are fairly new to RP and maybe are still enchanted by its magical vortex. Oh wait, so am I.

The version recorded live at KEXP was brilliant... much better, more intimate, more emotional.
Never heard the studio version until now. I'll stick with the live version :)
