My house in Budapest
My hidden treasure chest,
Golden grand piano
My beautiful Castillo

For you
You
I'd leave it all

My acres of a land
I have achieved
It may be hard for you to,
Stop and believe

But for you
You
I'd Leave it all

Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away

My many artifacts
The list goes on
If you just say the words
I'll up and run

Oh, to you
You
I'd leave it all

Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away

Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away

My friends and family
They, don't understand
They fear they'd lose so much
If, you took my hand

But, for you
You,
I'd lose it all.

Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away

Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away

My house in Budapest
My hidden treasure chest,
Golden grand piano
My beautiful castillo

You
You
I'd leave it all.

I'm forced (somewhat) to listen to Sirius/XM Spectrum in the car, so was wondering when this song might pop up here. Pure ear candy, and not in a good way. And please don't shoot me for this, but I also have questions about an apparently Caucasian guy who sounds like a Caribbean calypso singer.
 He's the Calypso Vanilla Ice!

I am reminded of Steven Slate when I hear this guy sing...the two of them sound remarkably similar  {#Music}

Thanks for the link. Liked it. I'm increasingly impressed with this guy. I suspect there is still better to come too.
No hum anymore...  Was interesting when it came out though...

Changed rating from 2 to 1....
This is disgusting music. Raw sewage at it's best.

One reason.........this sucks.
One of those trite pop songs that is ok but easily over played and kinda gimmicky.
The voice texture and the singing potential of this guy are both incredible, but that easy-listening 3-chord country song is SO boring. Similar waste of talent as Beyoncé.

It's two weeks later, and now I'm wondering if George Ezra "identifies as black"?

I don't like the hook at all.  So much so that I had to hit mute.

I'm with you!  Can't figure out how this guy is the "next big thing".  Or is Hozier the "next big thing"?{#Stupid}

They're wearing this out on 'XRT here in Chi., and it's a button-pusher for me when I'm in the car.
Bob Seeger as a young man

I like the voice and melody. the lyric is a bit funny.. but I enjoyed listning to this :) Thank you Bill for playing so varied music.

So how do you all think this song compares to "One More Murder" by Better Than Ezra?  In other words, is Ezra better than Better Than Ezra, or is Better Than Ezra better than Ezra?

Have to go with Better Than Ezra,,being better than Ezra

Funny thing is that if it were by a more established artist there'd be none of the objections to this song.
It's a decent tune, with an interesting voice.
I'm never surprised to hear anything on RP,,,,,,,but I am in this case.

Me too - sounds like the kinda crap Michael Buble would churn-out.

I'm no Michael Buble fan, but this song sounds absolutely, objectively, nothing like Michael Buble.
I could almost like this song if not for the you-hoo's {#Undecided}
What's next.
Commercial breaks?

I am already fed up with this tune from all the radio stations I listen to in the car. When you hear it countless times, it's annoying.

This award winning guy has been played to death on commercial stations here to the point where he has joined the ranks of Adele and her ilk.  And I mean five times a day on the same channel.....  Shame.

Wow, you were quick on this one Bill!  Very popular over here too.  Let's hear some more of the album please.{#Clap}

This was playing on Sirius XM's Alt Nation last summer, but I guess on RP-time it's super fresh.
I was listening to BBC Radio 2 this morning just until the end of the Pop Master Quiz as I usually do in the morning's here in the UK. Ken Bruce then played George Ezra's 'Cassi-o' and as that finished I switched over to Radio Paradise and this was playing. He's everywhere this George Ezra, certainly one of the best new acts of the last year. Couldn't believe a young guy could have such a soulfull voice when I first heard him on the Graham Norton show a couple of months back.

I confess, I like this, a lot. And, I predict it'll become mall-music really fast.
One word sums it up for me 'Refreshing' very well mixed, his voice is at the forefront and not drowned out at all.
{#Music}first listen, caught my ear, I detected a lil Dave Matthews, but agree I like it and hope to hear something else from this disc.

Perfect crazy when you drive through a snow blizzard in the arctic. Makes it fun versus scary :) Love this one!
Egeshegedre, George!
