I only hear this because it's in my favourites. I wish it could go back into rotation - yes it has a banjo, but yes its brilliant
The composition, arrangement, and playing are all utterly masterful, but yeah, you're right, it does have a banjo. You have a point. Wait, nevermind.
Wow, and I mean that positively.
I just a few days ago saw Weird Al on his "Strings Attached" tour. Now that was a funny pairing with a 41-piece orchestra.
Cool pick, I like it. I thought it was Bela Fleck, he's done similar work on an album called perpetual motion.
Yep, like I always say...there's no better accompaniment for a full symphony orchestra than a 4-string banjo.
Hit PSD and got DEVO Mongoloid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect
I'm not a banjo fan, nor do I like country...but if I wanted to hear Comfortably Numb (and I do love PF) and Shattered every 2nd day on cue, then I'd listen to Classic Rock Radio. Bill and Rebecca's genius is in the variety, the segues, the thought provocation. Thank you both for making radio a fun experience again!

That is beautiful.

Nice! Love that picking.
The Path.
I'm not sure this knows what it wants to be when it grows up, which is a good reason to postpone growing up.
Kinda goes past "Something Completely Different" to "Something Completely Annoying". Some Copeland would be much more better or maybe Luther Wright and the Wrongs. One way or the other.
The entire suite is simply fantastic. It helps to know the story. Get the thing, listen and see.

Maybe it is just me but this sounds very Jethro Tull to me.

WOW, one annoying song followed by another - Bill's certainly in a strange mood this morning!!!

Interesting segue from Who's "Rain on me" to this song, which begins with a bit of a similar start to Who's "baba o'riley". You guys keep me thinking and listening.
Haha. Fits perfectly!!

Repeat after one day? It is like ordinary radio.
Is Freddie one of the brothers?
Very eclectic in the RP way, which is how I like it.

Mind blown by the transition from VT, Landsailor to this! Seems like Bill has given us an influx of new awesome segues to enjoy recently.
Eh.
Hillbilly Classical!
I love this piece, but the rest of the album I find only so-so. Very disappointed. But, thanks for playing this one beautiful piece.
Quite lovely.
These guys were amazing to hear live at the Utah Arts Festival:

Too formulaic for my taste. Feel like I have heard it a hundred times before from a hundred different groups. Very "Renaissance Festivalish".

I like it with the exception of what sounds like an occasional piccolo or some such sounding thing and well I just don't like the instrument.
Hillbilly classical at its finest!
This really surprised me. Pulled me right out of what I was doing to listen, and I really enjoyed it. It's got more inherent excitement and pickmeup than most "renfair tracks" (as another described it).

Masterful. I'm generally a harsher critic than the average, but I really liked this track.

I usually applaud all kinds of musical variety (well I try to with these tentacle arms) but this track stinks. Sorry.
