Calling all the people here to see the show
Calling for my demons now to let me go
I need something, give me something wonderful
I believe
She won't take me somewhere I'm not supposed to be
You can't steal the things that God has given me
No more pain and no more shame and misery
You can't take me down
You can't break me down
You can't take me down
You can't take me down
You can't break me down
You can't take me down
Love and hate
How much more are we supposed to tolerate
Can't you see there's more to me than my mistakes
Sometimes I get this feeling - makes me hesitate
I believe
She won't take me somewhere I'm not supposed to be
You can't steal the things that God has given me
No more pain and no more shame and misery
You can't take me down
You can't break me down
You can't take me down
You can't break me down
You can't take me down
You can't break me down
I can see a place of trouble
And I'm on the verge
For the love of everybody
I need something more
Now I feel some days of trouble
I'm in the house of war
For the love of everybody
Look behind the wall
Standing now
Calling all the people here to see the show
Calling for my demons now to let me go
I need something, give me something wonderful
I think the repetitive chorus lends a kind of a semi -gregorian chant trance. Possibly this was a feature, not a flaw.
My comment isn't about this being meant as a feature or a flaw - you think an artist or producer would intentionally 'flaw' something? - It's about what I find appealing or not.
RIP Kobe
Best regards from Austria :-) I've been hearing your sender for 10 years and I am still discovering your sender! Keep up the good work and it's a relief to hear this and not all of the compromise rubbish we have here on a transmitter! Lg Best Greets from Austria :-)
Love the direct translation from Austrian speak to English.😉
Very satisfying. My second MK submission to get added. Very much hoping a USA tour will be forthcoming.
Thank you for submitting MK plays. Love hearing him here on RP.
Not having heard this before, I love this from the start. Instant 7 straight from the box, and probably a climber.
Yep. 7 to 9 for me today
Excellent!! I never heard of him before RP. The more I hear this tune, the more I like it!! Thanx RP!
Same here!
Is this Moby's Extreme Ways slowed down by a quarter? 🤔
Exactly, I just came here to point that out, but u did it already. Besides that, it is in very similar tune with his other famous song "Cold little heart".
Good Tune! I never heard of him before this. Thank you RP!
Same here!!
I heard this before. Probably in TV Show (mediocre o bearly watchable btw) . Era lo mejor de la serie. Thanks for let me know who taht guy was
I first heard this song on "animal Kingdom" -- One of my favorite programs. Now only on reruns.
Between this song and Cold Little Heart, might just have to spring for the album.
I did! I did!
Also bought and love the subsequent album Kiwanuka.
R&B and Soul meet David Gilmour guitar. Works for me!
OK - I really like this song, but what I love about RP is the lack of repetition. Yet this is the third time I've heard this hear in the last 24-30 hours... ??
Different feeds?
"Can't you see there's more to me than my mistakes..."
Officially overplayed, Bill.
Pretty sure that Bill's the official.
It's 2021, what could go wrong?
You'll be lucky...

Try again later.... I thought the same at first, Now I hear the Longing Optimism in the song. now an 8 from the peanut gallery
Actually the song they used was Cold Little Heart from this same album. A really great album. I don't begrudge either for their association- it helped expose this album, and the show had tons of great music in it. Special props to Martha Wainwright's Bloody Motherfucking Asshole!
Main Mix - 7

Sorry, after a good few listens, I couldn't agree more.
Can you have a hillbilly from the inner city? ;-)
Nice song. He reminds me a little of Rag and Bone Man.
Couldn't agree more.
Sometimes that just works. Like here.
