I have all of Vollenweider's albums on vinyl. His stuff is so well recorded. Sonically It just leaps off the grooves.

Leaps off the grooves strait to Heaven
I did wonder when I would hear AW on RP. bravo

A good choice, well worth exploring his music.

I think it is great that Richard Simmons plays the Harp so well...

You lucky duck. I wish that I could have been there too!

I do believe this is the best that 1984 had to offer.

Just thought... that sounds like Vollenweider :- ) And lo and behold it was! Have  at least "Behind the Gardens" and "Down to the Moon".

Behind the Gardens..., Caverna Magica, White Winds are the basic works of good music of this type. The rest then really less ;-) Regards from Prague/Europe.

Ah, I dunno... Down to the Moon and Eolian Minstrel are great, too.
Wonderful to hear this on RP! I have almost all his music.
The album Eolian Minstrel has vocals by Carly Simon and Eliza Gilkyson.
It is some very cool stuff.

The soundtrack to so many planetarium and Omnimax programs back in the 80’s. Oh, and laser shows. If you saw it on a dome, it probably had some “wafflebiter.” Said with love, Andreas, your music is quite wonderful.
So good. I remember a live concert back in the 80‘s. Thanks RP!
His website has current mini home concerts if you enjoy the harp.
I just played this album for the first time in 20 years the other week.  Interesting musicianship, but I didn't find myself thinking I'd listen to it again any time soon.

Then Bill stepped in...
AV has a unique sound which I quite like.
