She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh
As the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry
Whoa, oh-oh
Sweet child o' mine
Whoa, oh-oh-oh
Sweet love of mine
She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I'd hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me of a warm, safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder and the rain
To quietly pass me by
Whoa, oh-oh
Sweet child of mine
Whoa-whoa, oh-oh-oh-oh
Sweet love of mine
Whoa, oh-oh-oh yeah
Whoa, oh-oh-oh, sweet child of mine
Whoa-oh, woah-oh, sweet love of mine
Whoa, oh-oh-oh, sweet child of mine
Ooh, yeah
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, sweet love of mine
Where do we go?
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Mm-mm, oh-oh, where do we go?
Where do we go now?
Oh, where do we go now? (Where do we go?)
Where do we go? (Sweet child)
Mm-huh, where do we go now?
Ah-yah-yah-yah-yah-yah-yah-yah-oh (where do we go? Where do we go?)
Ooh, where do we go now? (Where do we go?)
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh-oh, wow
Where do we go?
Oh-oh, where do we go now?
Oh, where do we go, oh-oh-oh-oh? (Oh, wow)
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Whoa-oh, where do we go now?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no

We need more Gn'R music. Not just mainstream songs... their lesser known songs are great. :D
The first thing which came to mind for me when hearing this was the song's music video. This certainly transports me back to then - when MTV was a relevant (to me) TV channel with its <gasp!> music videos. Sure, this video was played incessantly back then but I did not mind at all. Good times.
Yep, I had to check i was still tuned to RP Hey, why not eh!!
I guess the 'overplayed' brigade will be along shortly, but i haven't heard this in a while, and it's still a great record
my stream seems to be up to 17 minutes behind everyone else today. how's that work?

Who else did a double take?!?!
First time played in 37 years? wow ... nice to hear it. I'm surprised it hasn't already been on the Rock Mix.
Ugh. Didn't really like it in 1987, hasn't aged well (or maybe it's me that hasn't aged well). Or maybe it's because just before she dumped me this was my girlfriend's favorite song ever and she played it over... and over... and OVER. Then she dumped me. Damn you, Guns N' Roses!
IMHO one of the most annoying voices in rock.
played because there is a commercial w/the intro & it made william want to hear the whole thing
This whole album was amazing. I can't believe this song is playing right now!
I know it's not a "bad" song, but it sure sounds too much like listening to 1,000 other radio stations and I had a bad reaction.
NEVER PLAYED BEFORE?! Wow. Nice to have it "back." But please, let's not overdue it.
