Khn's looping skill is next-level - all of this has to be perfect first time, or the whole house of cards comes tumbling down. He's also laying down ghost loops which we can't hear (yet) and mixing it all with his feet! Klek's groove holds this all together and stops anything from becoming boring and repetitive with constant tempo and time changes. A real breath of fresh air!
I could have sworn Khn was a she. Either way it's fascinating to watch
8 because it's just so interesting, and you can "dance" to it!
Let the wild rumpus begin!
Every now and then, a musical UFO pops up and disrupts the dominant narrative. It’s been done many times before : Jazz, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits… Each time, reception is initially polarized between those who can’t stand the disruption, and those who embrace the breath of fresh air. Angine de Poitrine is one such case. Only time will tell but for me, it’s a 9.
Primus x Zappa ?
Ugh, please don't bring Zappa into this, the prick.
sounds like Primus on a turntable with a bad belt
