"Nightshifts in a boilerhouse'?  Funny that Danny Kirwan, the composer, singer and guitar player in this song, played in a band called Boilerhouse before joining Peter Green et al.

Strange you would mention working in a boilerhouse. Danny Kirwan, the fellow who wrote, sang on and played most of the guitar on this incredible tune, played in a band called Boilerhouse before Peter Green took notice and invited him to join Fleetwood Mac.

Danny Kirwan brought both crunch and sweetness to FMac with his lead guitar work and his songs. Check out his work on Future Games especially. A highlight. Underappreciated and due to his personal problems, not around as a contributor long enough.

Try the Amazon CD button on the song page. It´s only seven and a half bucks, and Radio Paradise gets a bit of that as a kickback for putting up the link. I picked up the CD like that. It's great music, especially for the road.

A listenable tune, though, \"Mystery to Me\" is my fave. Any Fleetwood Mac before the invasion of the bottle snatcher (Stevie Nicks) is just fine. \"Rumors\" is the most over-played, over-hyped album of its time.

this album started, what i think, is the most interesting period of fleetwood mac. most assurdly, the most under- played and underrated era of their music. starting with \"kiln house\" in \'70, \"future games in \'71, \"bare trees\" in \'72, \"penguin\"& \"mystery to me\" in \'73 and heroes are hard to find in \'74, there is alot of really great music that never gets heard. thanks bill for chipping away at that big piece of music that never gets played.
