Vivaldi's "Summer" into "Frankenstein" and it totally works. Who does that?
Summer to Winter!
All these years, I thought this WAS Zappa!
Reminds me of Zappa's Hot Rats!
I can hear that.

edit, I guess you can't link YouTube.
The episode is titled (in Professor of Rock fashion as a bit of a teaser)
"70's Rock WIZARD on Creating The ONLY ROCK INSTRUMENTAL to Hit #1 on the CHARTS"
Brilliant Bill G!!!!!
Segue from Vivaldi to this.
I love you, man!
Summer to Winter.
That album cover is stunning!

I saw this guy perform this number live this past summer; I had no idea he played so many instruments! The live performance was AMAZING!!

I saw them play this at Avery Fisher Hall in NYC just after it was released.
Brilliant Bill G!!!!!

Loudest shit I ever heard live.
1985 UMass spring concerts.
I saw them when this album was brand new in the old Hershey Park Arena. The place had the refined acoustics of the inside of a galvanized garbage can. Didn't matter as they were so loud that it drowned out the echo! Great show.

Put your headphones on for this one!

How brilliant was that.
TOTALLY!
Never have been that crazy about this one. There are other far better instrumentals.

Anybody else hear the tip to Zappa’s Hot Rats?
honestly thought it was some Deep Purple at the start..

I had the good fortune to see Edgar Winter in the 70's at the height of his popularity. It was a great band with a local guy who made it big playing bass. The band put on a terrific concert. Glad you got a chance to see him play Ginniet. Both he and his brother are/were terrific musicians.

I miss the good old days when Bill went all out on Halloween.

Sounds even better tonight in the Halloween lineup. Thanks Bill !
Halloween is the best day of the year to listen to RP.

(Great GIF, Proclivities!)

I thought this was a rockin', fun tune when it came out. Listening to it now, I still feel the same way.
Aw, say it ain't SO!!!!! I bet the synthesizer part (representing the shock of life into the body of the monster) had a lot of the patrons doing a zombie-walk to the nearest elevator. Strangely, I'm okay with that - any place that will play Edgar Winter Group, even as "Muzak," can't be all bad, right? And don't worry about the Apocalypse - humans will be bystanders. Just tuck in and hide and probably, you'll be okay.

Ooo! Yeah, do I! Very cool to hear this sort of technology emerging ... not sure I understood how it would change future music. But THESE guys sure did. Very trippy — a trip to the way-back machine. Ummm.. headphones?
Well, it's a little before my time (I was only three then), but it fairly rocks!

That cover really is scary though!
agreed.
