Holy girl
Don't get up
For running

Stay with me
I feel sad
When you run

Sands of time
Are lying
On my chest

Stay in bed
I feel sad
When you run

Stay like this
On the hills
Of my chest

Don't wake up
I feel strange
When you go

Stop the night
Hold me tight
Holy girl

Don't stand up
I feel strange
When you go

every great band has laid an egg- air is no different
If the next song played is as bad as this one, I'm tuning out
Oh, Superman......hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah......
Och!
Umm.... This should only be served with the proper medication!
This song seems to really divide people. Either you love it or you hate it. Myself, I belong to the former, but I just can't listen to the song anymore without thinking about... rah wrote:

I stream Radio Paradise in thru 'mplayer' on my FreeBSD system. Every once in a while it gets streamed in wrong and mplayer plays things too slow or too fast (sounding like a 78 playing at 33 rpm or vice versa) and I have to quit and and try it again. I kept restarting my RadioParadise stream about 5 times when I came in this morning and this was playing. Then I realized, no, this is the way this song is supposed to sound. Yuk.
no, yum...

Forget the stop button... If I had a repeat button I would use it on this song! Quite unique and pleasing to my ears!
The little dancing ball is moving in step.
Beautiful and weird what a nice blend!
If sounding (sort of!) contemporary is their main criterion, than they've succeeded Apart from the 10CC (I'm Not in Love) choir, that is.
Stop button happens on this one for me, too. I guess that's our prerogative, huh?
There are few songs on RP that cause me to hit the stop button. This is one of them.

Being from the Ozark Mountains, I wouldn't expect you to have good taste in music. Then again, I live in the Ozark Mountains, I consider my self an oddity because I DO have good taste in music.
Hmmmzz dunno about this one.... Definitly 10 cc in there Maybe I gotta smoke a big J :D

Please! Be careful what you ask for
That "Run" line is a little disturbing if you turn up your speakers if you know what i mean?
yuck yuck yuck
Could this song be any more annoying?
i feel like slipping away into a pleasant dream right now listening to this song.

I am all for that...
I like Air. Their track on the Lost in Translation soundtrack is great, as is this one. But I had the opportunity to see Dance Preljocaj (a highly-regarded modern ballet troupe from France) recently in Brooklyn, performing a new piece with Air contributing the music. Alas, it was not very good. Parts of the dance were good, and the use of props was often great, but it didn't tell a consistent or compelling story. Most surprisingly, Air's music was, by and large, boring. It was minimalistic without being surprising. The parts I most enjoyed were when they stole the track from Lost and Translation and incorporated it into the music for the dance. I hope that their future multi-media collaborations and dance collaborations are more... dynamic...
I can appreciate differing viewpoints and tastes in music, even if they do not agree with my own, but this is the ONLY song I have ever heard on RP that has forced me to beat a hasty retreat back into my own music collection. The amalgamation of creepiness and overall sucktitude proves a deadly combination.
Love it! Future 60's Barbarella cool.
still my favorite from this album :D with the cool 10cc vibe

heh heh heh... best post on this song.
OK, so this song really sucks. It's like there's a skip in the record and it keeps getting stuck.... not to mention, it's just creepy.

I love that song!
Fantastic album, just not the best cut from it.
this is what being hit in the head with a hammer must sound like.

Good catch. Would also love to hear the original. This album, btw, is among my very favorite RP turn-ons.
Air is the only "band" the last couple of years that has given me goose bumps. I'm getting old..... :)

i was just saying that i agree with him when he said he had enough of this song. i wasnt calling him stupid you big baby. lol. who are you, the polite police? sorry mr. sensitive but try not to mistake my comments as offensive. he's a big boy, if it hurt his feelings, im sure he would have said so. now go play nicely with the other kids.

But then I like weird music. I think it's cool. Run run run run...
Turned it off after 45 seconds.
Wow it must be art. From all these comments, it obviously provokes a response. I like it. I think.

I got on here to post that this sounded like 10cc. I love you RPeople.
I cannot find enough sharp objects to jam into my ears.
Make it stop
this was ok the first 312 times i heard it...but now after the 739th time i've had enough....make it stop....

I like the whole album, it's just so interesting.

totally. many people have directed this sentiment toward me for no good reason at all. all i can say about it is that i'm sorry they feel that way, and move on with my life. NEWSFLASH - musical taste has NOTHING to do with intelligence! learn to separate the two! until then, cram it with walnuts!

I use Windows98 at work. When the coumputer locks up the music often gets stuck in a 2-3 second endless loop. I really thought my computer locked up during the song.

Or in an internet cafe in China at the end of the day (feeling a bit homesick). I like it. Interesting stereo effects with the chimes.
the way he/she said "chest" is strange, but yeah. interesting song, anyway. i need to hear it more, because while i enjoy it, i still don't quite know what to do with it..

Eurotrash? Oh come on. Such bigoted namecalling is uncalled for. :( I might not like each and every style of american music, but I still think there is more uniting than dividing us across the proverbial pond, "funny" accents or not.
The ending would fade right into a Squeeze single, Bill. Or not.

(pimp) jeeeeez...somebody pull the plug. This sound died with Miami Vice, did it not?
I can usually bear anything on RP, but not this. I really can't understand how this even made anything over a 1. I mean, I'm pretty open minded, and there's a lot of stuff I don't like that I can understand that other people might love - to each's own. But this... this... OMG How can anyone like this? Sorry - nothing personal if you do like it, I intentionally didn't read any of the other comments so I'm not attacking anyone directly or on purpose. If you don't like this song, and you haven't already rated it, for the love of all things pure and descent, rate it!!! I can't believe how long this has been on here. Ask me how I really feel....
Air a great outfit and I have the utmost respect for them, but this monotonous crap.
Someone should have corrected her (his?) lisp when they were little!
I dont' usually go for electronica stuff, but I love everything that I've heard from Air, including this song. Very artistic and beautiful.
Not Air's best, as nothing compares to the stuff on Premiers Symptomes and Moon Safari, but this song is still ok-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k...

This is my second favorite track from this album. Those crazy French guys keep surprising me.
Spectacular. One of their best.

Oooharrgh! I must respectfully but vehemently disagree. Art of Noise I adore, but very few Air tracks have caught my fancy at all. And this song just drives me nuts.
I love almost all that Air has done. For that matter, I love many from Art Of Noise as well! Hell, I just like too much damn music!!!
If only it were half as good as 10cc's classic. This is one of the worst Air tracks I've ever heard. The military probably use it for extracting confessions instead of white noise.

Mmm hmm, I'll second what tg3k said. I like it but "shouldn't," can't figger out why. Since it's the end of the day and my brain is fried, so I'm not feeling particularly verbose right now.
This rocks... not!

There's definitely a big "i'm not in love" fromm 10 CC influence in this song. Sounds like it got sampled to me.
This really is quite the homage to 10CC. I finally had to take this out of my walkman to give the poor other CDs a chance.
For all practical purposes, this song should annoy the hell out of me. Don't know why, but it doesn't. In fact, I'm getting to like it more each time I hear it. Maybe it's time to trade in my brain on one that works? Nah, I'll just live with the fact that my tastes are unpredictable, even to myself.
Ok guys, that was a joke, HAHA , I get it, now can we not hear that joke again? Please?

Rin (Not Run) Rin, Rin, Rin, Go, Go, Go, Go. Can do without this one.
Oh man, cheezy electronica... old sampling tricks... dated patches... Why do I like it so much?! I guess sometimes music slips below the rational part of the brain, and gets you in the viscera... or something...
This sounds like the Art of Noise meets mid-era 10cc.
