Excellent. Had mine done 11 years ago and have had 20-20 vision ever since and don't even need cheaters to read tiny print. Today, at almost 73. I can see better than I could when I was 12. I hope yours turns out as well.
Impressive. I've had 20/400 since I was 15. Wore contacts for over thirty years, until I got two corneal infections in a year and went to tri-focals.
Yikes, sorry to see that, D. This getting old crap is not easy, for sure.

In the waiting room to get the other cataract done. Excited.

It's just gone 0700h....with the first Test match of the current Ashes cricket series on the screen in the corner, I am dismantling for cleaning and service a lovely 50-year old Imhoff alarm clock that I found as a 50th birthday gift for HerLoveliness. Reasembly and regulation will follow.
Later, when the sun comes up, I will have to mow a section of the lawn I re-seeded a month ago.
That will be my day.
$$$$$$ I'll be walking funny for awhile ...but the showers can be endless ...
Been an expensive year with new windows back in August on top of this.
A few years back we had new windows installed in our basement and the guy who installed them said he was surprised no one ever broke into our house. The windows he replaced weren't that secure, I guess.

Developing an ulcer. My grown boy, but still my boy, was stuck in Boston tonight due to canceled flight, so without contacting me (plenty of points at airlines) he rented a one way car and is driving from Boston to his place in Pittsburgh - about nine hours on the road and not getting in until about 4am. Yes, he's a grown up, but he's still my boy. Can't help but worry (and be a little miffed that he didn't let me help him troubleshoot). Now it's too late. No flights from JFK that he can make if he would stop and drop the car.
