I try not to speak in what could be called "alarmist" terms, but it looks like things are moving close to a full-throttle, authoritarian regime in the making. Masked, unidentified thugs assaulting people, warrantless troops seizing apartment buildings and zip-tying children, military forces obliterating civilian vessels in international waters, when "threatening" vessels are supposed to be intercepted by the Coast Guard when entering American waters (for the last 200 years or so), dictating K-12 and college curricula and hiring practices, freezing research funding for cancer, diabetes, viral research, because president shit-head thinks there's too much DEI?... There are too many examples to go on about. How could you not see this for what it is? If they don't want to be called "nazis" or "fascists", then maybe they should stop behaving as such - looking at you, Steven Miller.
There is nothing close to the Communist Manifesto in politics in this country, and no politician who even approaches it, since Gus Hall. It's just an excuse to frighten people and it has been for over 100 years, I'm surprised you are resorting to Joe McCarthy's rhetoric. By the way, very few mainstream Democrats have "accepted" Mamdani, and he would just be a mayor, not the emperor that your guy wants to be.
I can only imagine the reaction from this Regime when Mamdani wins the mayor's race. It won't be pretty.

How are the rest of everyone else's predictions holding up ? (Rhetorical)
Looks like the actual conversation is getting started. Still far away from being a done deal.
And still a rebuttal to The Communist Manifesto which is the road map for the leaders of your side. Exhibit A : Mamdani and his acceptance and endorsement by the mainstream democratic party leaders.
I think you are smarter than to believe that the Communist Manefesto is a roadmap for democrats. If it was, they would have headed down that path decades ago. The mainstream democrats are very much capitalists. Even the more progressive democrats are far, far from communists and at no time have indicated that Marx provided a roadmap for them. Unlike Trump and Vance who have stated they want their authoritarian roadmap to go through - and are backing it up with deeds. You are just spewing bull to justify your guys' actions.

This holds up as well... The campaign against Project 2025 is based primarily on emotion evoking lies that provide confirmation biases all the reinforcement they need to keep working. The campaign and the lies are working as intended on the targeted. Emotional responses shut down critical thinking and prevent thoughtful conversations from even beginning. Which is the primary goal. Keep people from talking to each other to work through things like this.
Y'all are crazy. You're behaving like this is a done deal. To me, I see it as a conversation starter. A comprehensive one, but only a beginning. The chances of seeing any more than a fraction of any proposals successfully wend their way through Congress is pretty slim. But you all refuse any conversations. No conversations needed. It is all bad, case closed. Consider it a rebuttal to The Communist Manifesto which is the road map for the leaders of your side.
This aged well.
From July 31, 2024, right ?

Trump is appointing people linked to Project 2025 despite transition team co-chair Howard Lutnick vowing ahead of the election to âblacklistâ anyone involved with the project from serving in the administration.
