I like the way that Radio Paradise has evolved with designated streams. And I note that classical music is often highly rated by listeners. Would you occasionally listen to a classical stream?
I often do.
It's hard for people or companies to make money from classical radio, streaming or otherwise. Most of the surviving ones I know are listener-supported and constantly begging for money.
Classical FM has been around since the beginning of that radio format and AFAICT always limped along. One of the very best rock stations in the Boston area, WBCN, started out as a very late-night alternative to its daylight format of classical music and started playing rock because it was barely surviving.
Ask GeneP59 about BCN—he interned/worked there and had a blast!
