There are some who would add perhaps cloves and/or a cinnamon stick, but I think that is over-egging the pudding.

The Moscow Mule!

There's a guy at our local farmer's market who makes the most amazing boiled peanuts so I always get a bag of them whenever we go there. After finishing off a bag a few months ago, Jeff said, "you should pour some of this juice into a bloody mary," which I did and it was delicious. I hadn't been back to the market in a while, went last Sunday and asked the guy for some extra juice (I told him why and he loved the idea!). That batch happened to be especially spicy and delicious and when we finished the peanuts, I put the liquid into a half-full bloody mary mix bottle. I just got around to making myself a drink with that mix and O. M. G. !!! Fan-freakin'-tastic! I'm thinking of taking some of the mix to the guy tomorrow at the market to try.
