Still have the hardshell, but hoisting it up on the racks of the car is getting a bit tougher as 70 approaches. This keeps me doing something I love while maintaining upper body strength.

it's amazing that someone not only had the idea to put a boat in a box, but then successfully designed and implemented one.

I'd be interested if you can ship overseas. Slow boat would be fine - I've been living with hideous light fixtures and bare bulbs for 14 years.

So I was looking at some cool wood lights. They were all a lot more than I thought they should be. So then I was looking at the laser cutter in my shop and the spare pile of wood, then I spent $45 on lamp cord, some sockets and a cool globe that had been returned with a damaged box and some nifty LED bulbs. A bit of creativity and figuring out how the pieces would all fit together and these are the results:

Both are cool for their own reasons.

My new downstairs bathroom!
This has been on the works since last September and it's finally basically done. First a  pic of how it looked when I bought the place. It was worse than it looks in the pic as it has galvanized pipes leaking in the concrete and there was a septic tank under the floor that cause the room to stink and attracted 100's of black flies.
And how it looks now.....

Oh wait, wrong pic. That's my new GUEST Bathroom! Yes there really is an outhouse on the property...
Now for the actual pics....
