I agree. The new app is a real step back. And lacks so much! The nice slideshow is ruined with that super large oversized and useless progress bar thingie ! And a horrible design, requiring touch or mouse, not fit for a media player, where remote controls are limited.
The old app was so pleasant to have in the living room on the big screen. Easy to control, pleasing to watch. Now it is a mediocre old school telephone app.

Retract he current app, open a beta program for a real choice of users (phone, media player, car play. watch) and LISTEN to your supporters!

I am with great regret ending my monthly contributions to RP. The new app is a very pale shadow of the old app, and the lack of CarPlay support is the final straw. I feel insulted that this is being foisted on us and the apparent lack of consideration of the interests of your listeners has fundamentally changed my feelings towards RP.
You can see the strength of feeling in the posts here (which will as always with things like this will only represent a fraction of your listeners) but we are being ignored. Some of your supporters will just drift away and maybe it will not be significant in the overall scheme of things, but I am sad that this is happening and I am sad that you donât seem to care.

Looking through other posts about this I have to say that this change does not reflect the Radio Paradise that I have used and loved (and supported) since 2002. I am very disappointed at the arbitrary and unnecessary change to an app and its extended functionality that worked really well, to something that is very much less functional or useful. What has gone wrong with the RP ethos?

ð As Iâve commented in the iOS and CarPlay threads, it somewhat feels like a âwork experienceâ attempt at App designâ¦.I sure hope it didnât cost RP much, otherwise somebodyâs having a real laughâ¦. I full heartedly agree, the App is now a real poor portal into, and reflection of, the otherwise brilliant world of RPâ¦..
