Some Crime.... sort of like the war on some drugs. Mostly low level/unconnected people will see the sharp end of the justice stick. Those with real responsibility will avoid accountability.
It is all so strange. If the coating was bonded to the concrete properly, you couldn't peel it off even if you sliced it with a knife. The algal bloom should have been expected. The treatment failure should have been expected. Needing the national guard to protect a pool in a public space is just weird. But I'm glad they are solving crime in the city. Frankly I'm surprised that the governors in whatever states they are from aren't taking a lot of heat for those poor sobs being called away from home for so long.
I did read that it isn't cyanobacteria in the bloom so at least you or your dog won't die if you drink it.

Dead ducklings today seems to indicate that cyanobacteria has now appeared.
