Maybe a War on Beers thread ?

No bees, no beer ...

Would that be enough to get some doubters to wake up ?

I'm still laughing about the most recent poll that said 28% of Americans still trust their government.

 I guess Monsanto conducted that poll. {#Lol}

Just adding to your lament.

Got to start somewhere.  Starting with food is as good as any and perhaps the best, cuz we are what we eat.

From your link ... $8.3 million in California alone to defeat their ballot initiative requiring disclosure of GMO content in food labels.  Enough to kill any grass roots level momentum.  The only roots Monsanto is interested in is what sprouts from their (evil) seed.

And now they could be a reason to start a literal global war ?  This has gone too far.

First we had Putin warning us about how we weren't getting Capitalism right and now this ?

And I'm using the former head of the KGB to make a case about what is wrong with America ?

Things are way beyond wrong .......

Agreed, but Monsanto poses a bigger threat to humanities very survival than even nuclear weapon poliferation imo.  If Monsanto is not stopped, no more bees, no more food. Game over.

  From article;

Keep in mind these are the figures we know, which means that behind the scenes expect these numbers to multiply extensively. But what is most amazing is that these politicians just don’t care that you know they’re receiving thousands of dollars from Monsanto! They sweep it under the carpet, but they are openly taking money from this corporation that has been caught running ‘slave-like’ rings and disregarding public health. We’re talking about a corporation that primarily aided in the creation of Agent Orange — the Vietnam-era chemical weapon that killed over 400,000 people and led to 500,000 plus birth defects.

Looking at these figures, over $260,000 was openly pumped into the House, and $122,000 was pumped into the Senate. And again, this is openly. I’m speculating, but I would imagine the real number to easily be in the millions. Can you imagine how much they must pay these politicians to shoot down GMO labeling bills that 90 plus percent of the entire country wants?

Monsanto paid Senator Roy Blunt to ‘help write’ the Monsanto Protection Act that grants Monsanto immunity from federal courts? Roy’s cash payment is not included in this list, however RT reports he received $64,250 towards his campaign from the company. Surely they expected nothing in return.

Russia Warns Obama: Monsanto

Thanks for the link.  I had heard about Putin and Kerry yesterday and about the EU's actions regarding the seed registry some time earlier.  This puts it all together.  While the very idea of the seed registry is totally objectionable on its face, seeing the why behind it makes sense, sadly.  For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

How weird is it that Putin is now an ally in this war on GMO's ?  And the bees ...  Once again I'll crawl onto my soapbox and proclaim the relevance of Coast to Coast AM and its team of contributors who are talking about these very subjects and at great length.  They brought out the topic of the bees nearly one full year before the MSM found it necessary to speak up about it and for only a minute at that.

We had our little thread about bees are dying and the inevitable beers are dying thread mocking it.  Well here we are now.  Dying bees could be the harbringer of a world war.  And a footnote in the ongoing War on You.

Time is running out ...
