Yes No
Remove card Learn more =============================
If you click on Learn more you go to a page which gives you some FAQs about "Alexa and Alexa Device".
Nowhere is there anything that would enable you to link to your account that I can see.
I had the same problem (I live in Norway) not being able to link the RP account to Alexa via my Alexa iPhone app. I found a solution: I logged in to alexa.amazon, com on my PC web browser, disabled the popup blocker, and then clicked on the Link account.

Works fine on Echo, including FLAC, but can't get RP to play on Sonos One. Everything registered. RP responds to most commands/questions, like setting bitrate.
Alexa, play Radio Paradise! Sorry, I'm having trouble accessing the Radio Paradise skill right now. (Every time).
Alexa, tell Radio Paradise to start stream! You're now listening to Radio Paradise. (Dead silence)
Assume it's an issue in the cloud, somewhere between Amazon and Sonos. Most skills work fine, except Flash Briefing, so maybe Sonos / Amazon have some issues to work out still?

We'll look into that. And you have a functioning Chumby? I thought the servers for that were long gone.

Is there no command to play from the current web stream?
I found the answer in another thread - http://www.radioparadise.com/rp_2.php#name=Forums&file=showtopic&topic_id=24712&x=3786835 "Alexa, ask Radio Paradise to sync to live stream" or "Alexa, ask Radio Paradise to sync"

Question: where are you finding the list of commands in the Alexa app? I don't see anything like that.

1. Firstly, how do you link the skill to your RP account? I can't find any details about this anywhere - there certainly isn't anything in the Alex app.
2. Please fix the Stop meaning Pause issue - I can't seem to get the skill to do anything but pause the stream.
3. It would be helpful to get a list of the commands available in the skill. Is PSD implemented yet?
4. Getting Alexa to tell me what is playing when listening to RP is a bit tortuous - you seem to have to say "Alexa, ask Radio Paradise to tell me what is playing". Surely when a skill is in use it must be possible to simply say "Alexa, tell me what is playing". I don't know anything about the capabilities of skills, but when Spotify is playing you can ask this and get the right result - is it not the case that requests are passed to the skill that is in use first before they are processed by the basic Alexa engine (or whatever else you call it)?
Otherwise the RP skill is awesome and I use it a lot...
1. Look in the Alexa app after you've started RP. The option to link your account will be there. 2. I'm pretty sure a fix for that is in the works. In the meantime, say 'Alexa, stop stream'. 3. We won't have PSD. Use 'Alexa, skip' to start the next song on the playlist. 4. Hah. You'd think so, huh? But unfortunately that's not currently possible. Our requests to enable that have so far fallen into the black hole that is Amazon Tech Support. We'll keep trying. 'What's playing' works with Spotify & Amazon Prime Music because the skill is playing an individual MP3 file with metadata included, which is not the case with RP.

Say "Alexa, stop stream". We'll see if we can correct that. I agree — "stop" should mean "stop", not do the same thing as "pause".

Also: "Alexa, ask Radio Paradise what's playing".
More info is available in your Alexa app after you enable it.
We recommend linking the skill to your RP account (that's optional, but it allows additional features — including more to come on our new website). Just follow the instructions in the Alexa app.

Well it's now available in the UK and I have enabled it. It works fine, but all the app entry and alexa.amazon.co.uk give regarding commands is the following: "Alexa play Radio Paradise" "Alexa ask Radio Paradise what's playing" "Alexa ask Radio Paradise what is the average rating"
It's obvious from your post that there's more commands available, but what they are is a mystery. Could you possibly list all of them out here as a reference? In particular, I have no idea how to link the skill to my RP account, and there are no instructions in the Alexa app - just what I listed above.
One final point, and this is not in any way a complaint, in the list of interactions with Alexa in the app, all other interactions have an icon with them. When I used to use TuneIn to listed to RP, it showed a large RP icon. But the RP skill interactions do not have any icon with them. It's not something that I am at all bothered about, but I just thought it might be a useful observation.

Nice - I'll give that a try later. I do have my account linked so it should work if I use the correct wording.
