I've been having an endemic issue with my Roku, then another very strange issue that causes the app to shut down.
The first is when I launch the app, the sideshow does not segue with the song. Skipping may sync the two, but it will hang on the next station break. Skipping usually keeps things going, but that seems to be the sticking point, never more than twice in succession. I now skip after launching. I've noticed it will sometimes skip the next song and station break, and just play, yea! It's like it's not flushing the buffer when the app initializes.
The second was just now, Bad Co. "Like Water" was playing, when I switched to the info screen, the app crashed to the home screen, and then each time I launched it. A Roku restart didn't not help. I haven't tried since to see if it was just that song. Peter Rowan and the Free Mexican Air Force from a 1988 show I have is filling in.
oh....I can't seem to cast from the Android ago to my older LG TV, even through it's Screen Share input, tho that's no mind as I have the Roku.

Sounds like you might have encountered a bug that we're working on already. Should improve soon, hopefully.

Iâve been experiencing issues with the RP mobile app on my iPhone, primarily using the Community features for reading & posting to the Forum & Private Messages. I deleted & reinstalled the app & that has seemed to have resolved the issues. Iâll report back if they reoccur.

Nov. 22, 2024: Why am I not getting any volume for any of the mixes on Radio Paradise? I was listening to RP as recently as yesterday. I rebooted my laptop and my TV. Still not getting any volume. Thanks.
I think years ago I mentioned that the Submit ⢠Preview buttons in the forum are reversed in song comments to Cancel ⢠Submit and that is sometimes disheartening to click that Cancel button and go "wait, what happened?" 3 or 4 times.
I gave up on Alexa a long time ago. It wasn't dependable, would "forget" skills, etc. I can't think of a case when a problem was RP rather than Alexa.
In this case we had to briefly disable skip to get past some automated checks they make when submitting updates. We have to do some quirky stuff to get past their lack of support for gapless playback.
Should be back to normal now. Along with support for the Serenity channel.

More Alexa issues. As of today, "Skip" no longer works. I get "command not supported". I've tried power cycling the device but it didn't help. Any insight? Also, when it was skipping it wouldn't skip to the end, as I posted in the Alexa thread a few weeks ago.

Same issue in my Polestar 2 (Volvo's cousin).
A few others have reported a similar issue in the Polestar forum.
I am listening through Spotify at the moment, but I get advert breaks every now and then as I am not a Premium subscriber.
i only discovered RP recently (through other users' recommendations in the Polestar forums actually) and made my first contribution last month. Really hoping it works again soon.

Wired Mouse doesn't scroll in Mac App.
Bluetooth Mouse scrolls, but everything jumps back to top.

I think the playlist and actual stream have gone totally out of whack. Last correct song was Stevie Wonder - Superstition, then it went kaboom. Previous song was supposed to be Santana, but I doubt they have ever used a didgeridoo and the song doesn't sound anything like a cover of She's Not There. Now I'm hearing Jack Johnson - One Step Ahead, but the playlist says âJohn Mellencamp - To the Riverââ¦
Edit: strangely enough the playlist changes perfectly in sync with the music. But, the tracks are totally not what's actually being playedâ¦
