Good to know...because I think a pair of "cheaters" might be in my future—like the next couple of years. Of course, I suppose I could get those anywhere....

They have a store that specializes in Berkenstocks, too. {#Lol} And some cool bookstores and coffee houses and cafes and bistros. I swear, you feel like you're somewhere else. Big-time tourism, because of it. Lots of pretty nature areas in the area, too. I hike there quite a bit.

I didn't realize they've always been making cheese.  I thought that was something recent.  I'm due for a trip to Young's soon.

Antioch University——in Yellow Springs, OH. A cute, earthy little town that looks like you could set it down in northern California (think Mendocino)/southern Oregon and it would fit right in.

Had no idea Allison Janney was from Dayton.  I thought it was just her character on West Wing.  I just checked out her bio on IMDB.com and it looks like she might have been my cousin's classmate at Kenyon.  I remember my cousin telling me he graduated with Alan Alda's daughter.

Yep, he was an infant when he moved to Cleveburg from England.  His dad owned and operated a hardware store in Cleveland Heights and Hope was here from infancy til he hit the bricks for Vaudeville and beyond.

The town claims him as a native.
