I started with sword and scale. that was my first one. He gets a lot of flack for his pretentiousness, which began to drive me a little nuts actually.
I tried Lore, didn't like it

My son often listens to rain and wind tracks when he goes to bed, on the Echo dot he got for Christmas last year. They have some cool ones: city rain, rainforest, distant storm, etc. Some nights he listens to "Illinois Street Lounge" on SOMA-FM.
MyNoise has awesome presets. Try "Hot Off the Press" in the Steel Mill

one of the free noise generators i like and use on occasion is for brownian noise
I can't sleep to anything that has words, and no light (we don't have a TV in the bedroom). Waves and rain/thunderstorm tracks only.
