I ran my nine miles in the cool wind and warm sun....with gorgeous spring blossoms all around me and puffy, glowing white clouds in a bright blue sky...no aches, no twinges, just a healthy circulation and every cell in my body humming. Even after an insanely late night last night. Guess I'm not so old after all.

I especially liked the thundering roar when they move up to the starting line. I don't know if it was the acoustics of being in between two structures as they pulled up, or if they were doing something different with their engines....but it just sort of rose above the normal din...like the cars were singing. Then to actually see them blurring down the track like lightning...I had to stop my bike and just go .
Did a 20 mile bike ride on a path that took me through colorful spring blossoms, rushing streams, neighborhoods where yummy things were cooking on the grille, past a drag-racing track(can I admit that speeding cars and the sound of roaring engines gets me all excited??), and all the while the fresh smell of spring on the wind...and a soft-focus setting sun hanging in the west on my way home. Ahhhhh. Just what I needed.

A while back I caught a little toad in my backyard... I cupped it in my hands for a little while, then I ate it... when I bit its head off, it peed all over my hands... sure enough, over the next week, I had a big wart gradually rise on the back of my right hand... but now I am melting that wart right off of my hand with Dr. Scholl's® Clear Away® Wart Removerand I feel good...
