When you reinstall it make sure you also delete its preferences files as just deleting Firefox alone and reinstalling doesn't. I have had problems with Firefox before where just deleting the preferences file and redoing them was all it took to fix it.

Yep, I also try to keep regular backups of preferences and bookmarks for de-borking. I know how to go in and grab the files I need by hand myself, but I've found that Mozbackup works just fine and requires no brainpower. It puts the backups in whatever the previous storage folder was , unless you tell it different.

The "open in new tab" thingee doesn't work in 4. 0-it works in safe mode, and works for awhile after you restart in regular mode, but it happens again. I've gone through and disabled my extensions one by one and that isn't the problem.

Got me the 4..now for a new banking security program..getting Skype going ..waiting for Bill to fill out the blank "now playing" info.. I love these up-grades ! edit; the banking bit is done...only had to open up FF4 in 32 bit mode ! ${#Dancingbanana_2}$
