Something VERY WEIRD is happening right now (2025-05-25 @ 7:00 PM PDT) on the RP Main stream: it sounds like two songs are playing at once, or rather: the current song is playing on top of itself, but ~30 seconds apart or thereabouts. It's happening on multiple bitrates on the app as well as the website. Only seems to be the RP Main stream, and only the current block of music.
The current block includes the following tracks:
- Caamp: Let Things Go
- Elvis Costello: Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes
- Galactic: Mercamon
- Led Zeppelin: D'Yer Maker
- A Perfect Circle: When the Levee Breaks
- Yola: Stand for Myself
- Siouxsie and the Banshees: Cities in Dust
- Sam Fender: Arm's Length
- Post-block recap from William about Sam Fender
The duplicated track caused the post-block bumper to have a longer runtime than the metadata said it would (1:00 instead of 0:15).
I suspect most people will just PSD past this.
The first track that's not affected is William's pre-block intro about going back to the 1930s... some comment about one of the more "interesting neighborhoods..." which is the prelude to "Minor Swing" by Django Reinhardt.
I can corroborate. Hearing this now on Sonos. Interesting. It almost worked out on Yola: Stand for Myself. Other tracks, not so much!

Iâm not aware of this particular problem - but we are in the middle of reconfiguring our whole backend system. Maybe that caused the problem, maybe not - but it will definitely fix it. Along with a bunch of other issues.
Apologies for not being better at responding here. Weâre a very small staff doing very large things at the moment. And I donât see any issues here that wonât be sorted out sometime soon.
For a few days now, nothing has been running in sync here (germany).
The playlist is sometimes running about 1-2 hours behind, which is annoying,
especially when something cool new stuff is played and you want to know who it is.
Then everything is fine again, but after a short time the same error occurs.
Anywhere else too?

Audio came back on on my desktop a while ago for about half a song (playing in the band) and then crashed. no audio on website or mobile app as of now, about 12:30 PT.
The regular website main mix is working for me now.

My audio in the new player stopped about 20 minutes ago. Just stopped in the middle of a song. I can see slide show, but no audio. In the classic site I can get the audio to play, but no photo stream. - Just checked back and it has resolved itself. Thank you.

Went to the song page for Elvis Costello's 45 from the forum and, when I tried to go back, the banner at the top was gone. Went directly to the forum and, of course, the music stopped...and when I clicked on the player at the bottom (using Chrome on a PC), music started, but it immediately went back to the page for the song that was playing. Had to open a new tab to post this.
On the main mix, at 7:15 pm EDT for the past 15 minutes or so, I'm hearing two songs playing simultaneously. Sigur Rós and Morcheeba are playing together right now. And... I'm hearing more than one Morcheeba, "The Sea" playing out of sync. It's crazy.
A problem on RP's end? Or do I need to restart my Roku. LOL.

Still having issues here in west coast Aus. All streaming channels work on "web interface" and on the iPhone app, but the "rock mix FLAC" is not working on any of my streamers.
( Alexa and SqueezeBox/lyrion ) ( all other RP channels work on the streaming gadgets )
Current album art is shown on the squeezebox web GUI. but there is no audio.
When pressed, the "Play button" just reverts back to "pause button" after a couple of seconds.
The album art tile reverts back to he "headphones" tile when this happens.
For some time now, the slide show feature doesn't work on my phone. I'm running app version 4.10.0 gp from 2024 on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra on the Verizon network.

long pauses of "re-buffering". sometimes ending with no buffer at all, causing player ( Squeezebox / Lyrion ) to actually stop the stream. Restarting the stream gets it going again.
