I signed up for this yesterday afternoon and I have yet to see my first question. Then again, I haven't had the sound on most of the time. Maybe that could be an issue.

Well, with 168 possible questions per week and 300 possible points per question, that means 50400 is the max number of points (not counting the three-in-a-row bonus). I'm averaging around 268 points per (on the ones I get right; 238 per if you include the idjit responses). So if I only answered eight questions a day, seven days a week, my score would range from 13328 to 15008. So I guess I should wait until we've been playing for a full week before I start throwing rocks.

On the other hand, mayhaps that's the only person who started on Day 1 this week. And on the third hand, maybe I should just shut up and get back to work. Yeah, I was wondering who that person was. Seemed easy that it was a composite.

I was going to install the app here but when I loaded the website it had a countdown timer going so I said YES and nothing happened so I clicked yes again and of course the first click registered the Yes button and the second click wound up hitting the wrong answer DAMMIT! Maybe by next week I'll be over the stupids. That's funny - last night, I was heading to bed and just when I clicked on the Shut Down button, for that brief moment when the machine is still in "on" mode before it starts to turn off, the damned widget pops up. I hesitated and *almost* hit "yes" - but then I realized that I'd just screw myself over, because I wouldn't have a chance to answer the question. So I'm annoyed that, had I waited another 30 seconds before turning it off, I could have answered another question (okay, and maybe gotten it wrong), but I'm relieved my clicking instincts were overruled by my common sense.
