Radio Paradise

CBS News...since August, 2000.
Dan Rather, reporting the week of The Republican National Convention, blasted Candidate Bush and stated that the release of information that yet another Federal Grand Jury was looking into yet another area of concern regarding President Clinton, was typical of Mr. Bush and dirty tricks. We would find out the very next day that the presiding Judge, not Mr. Bush, not any of this campaign team, not any Republican, had leaked that information. Did Mr. Rather apologize? No.
Of course, he and Mary Mapes would later team up in one of the most despicable hatchet jobs passed off as journalism.
Have not watched CBS News since that day in 2000...

We don't watch TV in the summer because up here it's light until 9 or 10 at night and (because our winters are dark and dreary) we don't waste any precious summer days or nights stuck inside.

We still watch some TV but we never watch anything in real time anymore. We DVR the stuff we want and watch it commercial-free when we're ready. Sometimes stuff piles up for quite a while. We don't watch TV in the summer because up here it's light until 9 or 10 at night and (because our winters are dark and dreary) we don't waste any precious summer days or nights stuck inside.

I think about boycotting TV until I realize I don't watch enough where taking away has a huge effect. I spend most of my free time reading, listening to radio or music and surfing the internets When I do watch TV it's usually news, documentaries and I'll admit some comedy. Like others have pointed out TV is a medium and is only as good as you make it
