In this case I don't think anything said could diminish the incident any more than the facts. It is sad he will be remembered for how he left this world than his volume of work.

That may be the whole point. When you're trapped in compulsive behaviours the thinking stops.

It's true that nothing is sacred around here. The opposite side of that coin seems to be that everything gets diminished.
