I was thinking of making the top text green or putting a stripe.  The old favorite "Balloon" typefaces.  I drew that seahorse in white ink, and was going to do some different sort of project, then was "inspired" by that bottle of sauce.

I applied to be an official amazon influencer. That means I create a list of things on Amazon
that I like or that I think other people will dig. It's mostly music and books but it has things
to do with burritos, beer, single malts, cigars, beards, essential oils, health related doodads.

I've visited Austin exactly once. It was far bigger than I had imagined and yes, traffic was a total clusterfuck.

Texas has room, but Austin does NOT. The infrastructure is hopelessly outdated: the water/sewer systems date to the 30's. Property values have skyrocketed, along with rents and property taxes (Texas has no income tax). People are literally being taxed out of their homes: property taxes do not consider your ability to pay. Small businesses are moving away in droves: their rents have quadrupled and more.Traffic is rated among the top (bottom) ten worst in the country.

Amazon has the ability to create its own town. There is plenty of land in Texas, and not so far out of Austin (or Dallas) either.

No. The government occasionally tosses a bone out to the masses (usually in exchange for a vote). 

I had a project that would have required a little work from them (about half of which they were doing already) , and some from my team. I figured the work load at about 2/3 for my team and 1/3 for their team. I was going to provide the tracking system and framework. The result would be a substantial energy savings and some good PR.  I offered to give them 50% of the energy savings as a credit on their invoices. They said "great, but we want 100%, and you can't use this as PR".  We went round and round, but in the end, their guy said "if there are savings to be had, we want all of it". I did the project without them and still got about 75% of the energy savings, so I came out ahead financially. But I was astonished how hard headed they were and so utterly unwilling to let us share in any part of the savings from a program that we identified and initiated.

The issue has been making the rounds here for some time. I don't know where they think those 50,000 (?!) people are going to live. It's one more reason we moved out of town.
