I just found the Beta player and wanted to say thanks for such a great update.  The PSD features are my favorite addition for both PC listening, on my phone and the Amazon fire stick.  

edit: spoke to soon on the pc.  I keep getting "Google chrome ran out of memory" issues after a few seconds on the beta player after hitting the PSD button.  Settings are 720p hd slideshow, all bitrates.

edit part 2:  I may have solved it.  I disabled Ublock Origin for the page (adblocker) and its playing fine now!  I think too it needs a 30 minute buffer in the settings to do the 6 song PSD?

edit part 3:  After a couple more songs it crashed again with out of memory.  Back to my troubleshooting....

Hi Bill,

I am wondering if there is a way to have an option to keep the player on top of other windows?  It's a feature I would like to have... (hope I'm not repeating a previous post, but didn't find anything under the search.).

That bug is exasperated by a slowish net connection or 'maximum' bitrate setting (especially in Safari).

On your Mac, what browser are you using?  If it's Safari, try the 'switch to MP3 streaming' link on the front page (main website - not beta).

When 2 songs play together or there are gaps between the songs on the beta player, is this after using the skip or PSD functions? Are you clicking one of those immediately after starting the player? There are some issues with that, particularly in Safari, that I'm still working out. Try letting the player 'settle in' for a song or 2.

On the beta player, what do you have the bitrate set to? Try 'high' rather than 'maximum'.

Strange things are happening. 

• My wife plays it in her bookshop and it has no problems - microsoft.
• I play it in my workshop and the app does not work but the website does - apple.
• On my home computer, most times it won't play unless I go to beta version - apple.
• Sometimes two songs play together. 
• Sometimes there are big gaps between songs.
• Sometimes it won't play at all and only clicking the beta version again will start it up minutes later.
• I love your music but it is getting very frustrating. Hope this helps you work out what is going on. 

This morning my pop-out Beta player (in Firefox) started playing 2 songs.
I hadn't hit PSD or anything, but it starting playing 2 somehow.

I hit pause and one of the songs stopped. looking around for other players/tabs, I closed the main RP tab in my browser, and the single song kept playing despite still being paused.

Eventually something caught up and the music stopped; I had a "that was XYZ— This is ABC" station announcement, and then silence. Clicking play/restart I got the same station announcement repeated and it started playing.

I've also noticed songs fading out earlier than usual, and other blending issues not as fluid as the main player.

Using latest Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m, on Win7 64 Pro. RP3 fine for a dozen or so songs then stopped near end of Shelter From The Storm. No amount of restarting, closing the popup, refreshing the page and restarting, etc will make it play. RP2 works fine.

Love RP and no problem with Beta Player. However, is it too late to add a timer option? So it will play on my laptop for an hour or so then stop?

It suggested a song that has a very long, quiet introduction, so not hearing anything, I press PSD again, and "1 song I like", and so two songs could then be heard playing simultaneously.

I've encountered a strange bug a few times now during the last weeks: two songs playing simultaneously. This seems to happen after I paused long enough that unpause will not resume the song but jump forward in the playlist, but I cannot reproduce it reliably.

There may be a bandwidth issue. Often in the afternoon the player will stop. A refresh does not seem to solve the issue, and neither does the PSD button. I have also tried to log out and back in at the time that this happens, which also does not seem to resolve the issue.

I usually am listening on Google Chrome on a Win10 Pro PC.
