they stop spamming if you join. all you'll get is their nice quarterly magazine. even that can be canceled or get the optional digital version.

Has anybody tried/is using Consumer Cellular, the plan promoted to AARP members?  There seem to be a lot of bad reviews on the intertubes about their service, I'm trying to figure out if it's mostly people who love to carp about anything, or if the company really is providing bad customer service.
