I 've had a look at implementing a 'now playing' item but soon I found out the way I implemented an mp3 stream in Flash it's impossible to get the id tags from a continuous stream.
For the time being the current player 'is it'. Right-click or ESC to exit; click the link in the player for the website and the playlist.
Coming weeks I'm busy again (I'm lucky); later I might try to implement another way of getting the stream, maybe I can get the id3 tag that way.

I'm also testing a 'open social' version on Hyves, the Dutch version of facebook etc. Seems to be alright.

Have you considered adding"now playing" code?
Or a mute button (for when Neko Case comes on )

I just updated the Radio Paradise Streamplayer.

Changes:
 It now reconnects when connection is lost.
 The number of url's the player checks is user extendable.
 The player may me moved on the screen.

I tested the player only on Win XP SP2.

I made the player in Flash CS4 and Zinc. Forums says Flash has memory leaks (i.e. it will fill up memory with the radio data) but even an 8 hours test didn't show any problems.

Yes, I considered 'playing now' which would, for me, be the most interesting thing to know. On the other hand, I want the player be as small as possible. I work a lot from home (yes, Flash among others ;-), need every bit of monitor space and still wants to change the volume asap.
I could sacrifice the logo, but as I like it very much ..... ;-)
For the time being I added the link to the website; which shows the same info ;-)

I have to make some enhancements: when starting it scans the 128k mpu for a connection but when the connection is gone (f.i. because of heavy traffic on my connnection) it does not (yet) reconnected.
It was my first try for a streaming mp3 player in Flash, I doubt if I can make it in Flash Lite (for mobile). But 'who knows' ... (nice music from Jimi Hendrix btw)
