They've asked for me to try all sorts of tests that seem to be completely unrelated to the voice control not working as expected, but I guess they're trying to rule out bad data for the actual stations. The problem is some change they've made in their search results that ranks a long string like "Radio Paradise 105.1 FM" as a higher match for "Radio Paradise" than "Radio Paradise". Go figure.... probably sorting search results by date or something stupid and this new station is... newer. So that's what Alexa picks first.

I really don't get how tagging the "zero" onto the end makes it work, but I was happy that I found it and it's good enough for now. I give it even odds that TuneIn does anything to fix this because I'd guess the engineers breaking the code don't want to be told it's broken by an online support person. But maybe I'm just being a cynic...

We're still trying to get TuneIn to deal with this. Their level of concern has been underwhelming, to say the least. Emails to support@tunein.com would be helpful.

In the meantime, a listener suggested this:

“Alexa, tell TuneIn to play Radio Paradise zero”

I've seen this issue for about a week now, and submitted a couple of videos and documentation to TuneIn support.  They seem to be proactive, but we'll see.  BTW, RP Main Mix plays on one device if I say "Alexa, play Radio Paradise."  If I say "Alexa, play Radio Paradise everywhere," (for two devices), then the other weird Radio Paradise 105.1 plays on both devices.  Also, I'm not sure how they get away with claiming to have a frequency of 105.1 for their station, since that FM frequency is non-existent in Cape Coral or surrounding communities in Florida.

A search on past topics came up empty,  but I can't imagine nobody else has this issue:

Listening to RP on a multiroom Amazon echo group,  through the TuneIn skill — done this scores of times with no problems.

Today,  the TuneIn skill plays only "Radio Paradise 105.1-FM  from 's TuneIn", and I  cannot figure out how to Not play that station.

Is there a workaround?
