This is interesting.  With the pandemic, virtually all of the jobs that can be done from home are being done from home and with that comes much more opportunity for mobility without changing careers.  Along with the skyrocketing taxes, eat the rich mentality attacks on corporations by some cities which was already well in place, the mass exodus from large coastal cities is being further fueled by some creative ideas from different areas of the country looking to revitalize:

You Want To Move? Some Cities Will Pay You $10,000 To Relocate

Some cities and regions in America's heartland are offering this sum — and more. They're seeking to bring energy and vitality to their towns by attracting dynamic workers. With legions of people working from home during the coronavirus pandemic, these programs are getting a lot of attention as people in congested cities seek more space and affordable housing.

Three articles. First one caught my eye. Its topic made me think of the second one (as in, has Weissmann seen the research cited by Buntin?). The third one attempts to answer the question that popped into my head when considering the first two.

America’s White, Wealthy, Middle-Age Urban Revival

Denver Urban Gardens

Multiculturalism in the Garden Tour

August 20th, 2011, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Please join DUNG for the 3rd Annual Multiculturalism in the Garden Tour! This year Denver Urban Gardens will be featuring three amazing gardens in Aurora. Each garden is a beloved and unique space where communities have come together to bridge cultures and cultivate community. At each site, gardeners will accompany us who will share their garden's culture and distinctive gardening techniques. You will have an opportunity to tour the gardens, learn, and ask questions at each site.

but the Denver Urban Gardens (DUNG) have a cool looking Fart Farm coming on September 10—

Join us for the fifth annual Fart Farm, and enjoy an evening of local farts and music at the West Washington Park Community Garden. Wine, beer, and hors d'ouevres generously donated by our partners will be provided.

Perhaps you and your wimens could make the September 10th show.   It might require some preparation.
